1/ An $ICX $ICON thread outlining my thoughts / views about the current state of $ICX as well as some (very) simple explanations relating to regular questions that come up within the $ICX community.
2/ Decentralization: Currently $ICX is centralized and this is normal as the team is still working through the token swap, staking and incentive program and implementing their AI governance model. @minhokim has stated that over time they will gradually become more decentralized.
3/ TheLoop & ICON: TheLoop is the private branch that helps institutions / organizations setup their own Blockchain networks. ICON is the public branch which will allow for interoperability between these Blockchains as well as other #cryptos.

4/ Github commits: $ICX are developing on Gitlab for internal uses. Reason being is because ICON is being used by institutions and they need to protect intellectual property rights. They will eventually open source, update to Github and start to develop on Github.
5/ Roadmap Delays: I believe it is due to the fact that they have signed these MOUs and JVs with large corps and govts which in themselves require attention and manpower (LINE, Samsung, Customs etc). Also due to the token swap not being complete as of yet (ie. needed for IISS).
6/ Communication, PR and Marketing: Always can be improved upon (ie. Having a community manager to hold hands with some $ICX holders) but overall they are focusing these efforts on where they need to be (businesses, universities, hospitals etc) in order to to scale later.
7/ Selling pressure: A combo of market conditions as well as early investors. Liquidity for $ICX is quite low and since the token swap, early investors can start to cash out through exchanges. At higher prices we would have absorbed the selling pressure in a much better way.
8/ Where that leaves us: The $ICX team is still working hard in the background and are even on a recruiting drive to add to their expansion. Many of the impatient holders have sold after expecting short term gains or to cover their losses. Long term IMO this project will thrive.
