Anyway can I bore you with my current work experience and life?

Selalu kau dgr bab cgpa tak penting, low pun tak apa, siap quote geng2 dropout yg jadi berjaya, but tell you what cgpa matters, at least for your first job, and to get into those special field, say, Doctors
Memang kita ni asian kita disuruh belajar elok-elok dan dpt pointer bagus olek mak ayah kita, generally depa ni dulu kerja level bawah2 ja, mostly kerja kerajaan. Depa percaya kalau belajar bagus pointer bagus nanti boleh dpt kerja bagus.
It is true. Based on my experience. Whilst not 100% depending on that, but it gave you the edge to get into that interview (or job, even better).
I graduated back in 2010, (yes aku tua goddamit stop laughing), mech engineering (class? Haha), top three yg dpt gold, silver and bronze award during that cycle sekarang dah everywhere in the world with great jobs. It really helps to propel you forward.
But you did not apply what you learn? It is true, Im lucky my work still have me applying my understanding in Mech Engineering. But by having good cgpa, you show other qualities as well, grit, determination, critical thinking, drive, discipline and etc.
Its not easy to get good grade, you would require rigorous study and to excel in various things. Tips be good also in presentation skills and the skills to talk and mingle around. Lot of you lack this. Its easier to navigate thru life with both of this skill + brain.
Some of the job immediately require good grade - eg doctors. We dont want stupid doctors do we? We want good one. Although some of them were reported to be a perverted psycho recently but thats a discussion for another matter.
But be reminded that a good grade normally only applies for your first job. On the upcoming job mostly they will look at your experinces. But of course it would help to determine where you actually start.
And on another thing - you never stop learning. To be good on your job, theres quite a lot of studying to do. Difference between study days is - its up to you, nobody will check on you.
If u used to always train yourself to be better since early days, you will always try to be better everywhere you are.
