I am making a thread to follow this piece by @marwanbishara because I don't think enough people, even if they have read it, understand the full significance to the #Palestinian cause if this trap is laid. Please read & share.

First the timing.

2nd the deal with Hamas. Read the Al Arabiya article & compare tone to."mediation for a separate deal between Hamas and Israel... just when the latter blockades, starves and cuts fuel to the Gaza Strip" to quote @marwanbishara

I cannot explain the anguish this fills me with especially as events seem to be happening as @marwanbishara predicted. The #Palestinian cause is in the gravest danger it has ever been in. #PalestiniansUniteOrDie
Usually I am the bright eyed optimist looking at the direst of events through rose tinted specs. This time it is @marwanbishara who offers the ray of hope:
"Palestinians must first and foremost unite and remain steadfast... Fingers crossed, Trump... could be gone in two years".

So, all my #Palestinian friends and all their supporters, who or where ever you are, please use #PalestiniansUniteOrDie because if they do not, their cause is done, & the fruit of 70 years of struggle is complete and utter defeat.
