He knew he shouldn't be doing this. Although he grew up with Taehyung and they knew each other so well, the younger still had his privacy.
Yes. You read it right. Taehyung was his first love.
It all started when Seokjin was 10 years old and Taehyung was 8.
Everytime his mom forced him to go to the nearest playground, he had to walk around with his head down.
He knew none of these kids, and quite frankly, he had no intention of getting to know them.
Seokjin let his eyes slide around the playground. He wanted to go home to study and sleep because he was too tired to play with himself.
He looked at the direction of where the rock came from and saw the two boys, who looked as the same age as Seokjin or maybe a bit older, walking towards him.
"If you consider the consequences, then you'll realize that running away is not the best course of action." The fat boy said.
Seokjin understood that these kids were bullying him.
There was nobody in authority around and the bullies continued to advance on him.
He wanted to run before they were able to do any serious physical harm.
"Hey stop that!" Another voice shouted.
He turned his head to see an angry looking kid who seemed younger than him coming towards them.
The kid shoot them a boxy grin, crossing his arms and stared directly at them. "I am." He said firmly. "And my best friends." He smirked and pointed his fingers to make the bullies look to where he was pointing at.
The two bullies exhanged glances. "You're not worth it." They said and turned away.
"Losers!" The blonde kid said.
Seokjin nodded.
"I'm sorry we didn't see you earlier. Does it hurt here?" The kid touched his arms.
"Or here?"
"What about here?"
The boxy grinned kid kept on asking him anxiously.
"That's good!" The boxy grinned kid said, looking very pleased. "Why don't you come play with us?"
"He will not talk to us because we are still strangers." The bunny looking kid said.
"Yes. We should introduce ourselves first, right?" The blonde haired kid seconded.
The three kids nodded in unison.
"I'm Kookie." The bunny looking kid said. "Call me Koo-"
"His name is Jungkook. He just can't pronounce his name correctly." The blonde haired kid said and received a glare from Jungkook. "And I'm Jimin."
Seokjin chuckled.
"Hello. What's your name?" Seokjin asked.
The kid took a step back and did a V sign. "I am Kim Taehyung."
Seokjin looked at the younger's little hand and followed him gladly, knowing somehow that he had just made his first circle of friends, and that his life would be better for it while he was in Busan.
He walked away from the study table where he put the notebook but immediately went back to the table and grabbed the diary back to his hand.
He knew the consequences but his body just didn't listen to him anymore! And therefore he opened the notebook and started off with the next page.
He flipped the diary to the next page and continued.
Seokjin finally stood up and neatly placed the diary back to Taehyung's drawer. "That's it for today." He said, walking out from his friend's bedroom.
His face looked so red down to his neck. "Why it suddenly becomes so hot in here?" He stood up to reach the aircon and he maxed it to make the room cooler.
"Better."
Seokjin liked the smell. In fact, he recommended it to Taehyung and he was proud that the latter used it.
He wished that his bestfriend had confessed instead of asking him repeatedly if he has a boyfriend or not. Maybe, just maybe, Seokjin could've told him that he loves Taehyung so much.
He chose the purple pen with a feather as its design and he started to write on Taehyung's diary.
He forgot to buy the beer that Seokjin requested earlier.
The guys understood him and just ignored it. They knew that their friend was heart broken because of their hyung.
He unlocked the door and saw no one in the sala nor his kitchen.
He checked the restroom and Seokjin wasn't there either.
He sat on his bed and touched Seokjin's face gently and his eyes immediately widened when he saw a blue notebook beside his hyung with a purple pen lying on it.
Taehyung opened his diary and gasped when he turned to the last page.
Taehyung dropped his diary and he quickly turned his head to Seokjin. "H-hyung. Ughh. You're awake. I uhhhhh. I'm back?" He stuttered.
Seokjin remained calm, laying on Taehyung's bed. He just gestured the latter to come near him and patted the space beside him.
"What's wrong?" Seokjin's voice was clumsy with sleep, the words slurred and malformed. "Come here."
Taehyung slowly stepped his foot towards the bed and sat next to Seokjin. His heart was beating fast and he already felt dizzy in a good way.
"How long have you been there? You didn't wake me up, you dumbass." Seokjin said.
Gentle arms pulled Taehyung's side, folding him into the warmth of his hyung's body.
"Say something." Seokjin mumbled.
"Idiot." Seokjin said while laughing. He pressed Taehyung's head to his chest. The younger can hear his heart beating beneath his ears as he curled his fingers around Seokjin's shoulder.
"Hyung. D-do you r-really love me?" Taehyung whispered.
Seokjin released Taehyung from his arms. He brushed his fingers to the younger's face until it touched his lips.
The kiss was hypnotising and reassuring. Taehyung can feel every place where their bodies touch, the warmth of Seokjin's skin soothing his fears and stilling the overwhelming thoughts.
