I don't think this is fair. @SadiqKhan has been a stalwart ally of the Jewish community. His outreach, attending religious events, finding common ground is a model Corbyn could learn from. Khan prob has little influence with the Labour party in any case standard.co.uk/comment/commen…
If Corbyn is looking for a longer term solution to his issue with the Jewish community, he only needs to look to City Hall. Jewish community was skeptical of @SadiqKhan, no doubt because of his background (Jews are just as prone to prejudice as others) but he turned that around
He did it by reaching out, listening, attending communal events, not just with groups which he felt comfortable with but across the spectrum. He plays a central role in key areas of communal sensitivity such as Holocaust remembrance.
He has turned his Islamic faith from what might have been a negative (because Jews and Muslims sometimes clash e.g. over Israel) to a positive, focussing on interfaith events and accentuating the positive. It's a great story and I have been so impressed jewishnews.timesofisrael.com/chief-rabbi-mi…
As said, Jeremy Corbyn's office could learn a huge amount from @SadiqKhan and even use his connections. I don't know if they have the humility to collaborate with someone from the "Labour right" though, sadly
