-> My Entire Goal Setting System <-

I get a lot of questions like: "how do you DO all of this stuff?"

-Tweets
-Emails
-Blog posts
-Respond to everyone
-Write sales pages for clients

It can be a lot, I get it

That's why I want to give you my entire system in one thread...
1. Here's how I break down my setup:

-> 25 years
-> Annual
-> Quarterly
-> Monthly
-> Weekly
-> Daily

Next, the apps I use...
2. Here's all the apps I use:

-> @evernote
-> @todoist

Yep, that's it...

I'm a simple guy, what can I say?

Now, for the good stuff...
Each one of the above categories filters into the other like so:

25 year goals create annual which create quarterly which create monthly... and so on...

Top down fashion.

If you're confused, here's an example...
25 year goal: "I own a $10m mansion on the beach in California which has direct access to my $4m yacht."

Cheesy, I know, stay with me...
That gives us a total monetary goal of $14m in the next 25 years...

This gives us an annual goal of $560,000 per year

Quarterly: $140,000

Monthly: $46,667

and so on...
Obviously I'm not making adjustments for inflation and everything, calm down trolls, I KNOW.

So, you would go through and do this for a few different goals, making them trickle down into each different area...
I focus on 3 major areas to base my goals around:

1. Health
2. Wealth
3. Relationships (wife, family, friends)

These are pretty standard...

Within each, you'd have a few goals

I then plug these into my apps...
I use the shortcuts in Evernote to keep them organized like this...

Once again, each filters into the other, top down.
What does this do for you? It simplifies things and makes them incredibly achievable.

In fact, I would even go as far as to say that you will think your goals are weak after you actually do this...

Here's why...
Using our example of $14m house and yacht in 25 years, once you break it down...

You need to make $1,668 per day.

If you sell a $500 course, you only need to average a little over 3 courses sold per day.

Pretty doable isn't it?
Speaking of daily goals...

That' where my favorite app, @todoist comes in to play.

I set it up like this...
Project are my "big umbrellas" which everything else falls under:

1. Work (my full time job)
2. iamnickyates.com (Personal brand)

Next, I break down smaller areas within the big umbrellas...
Within my personal brand umbrella I've got different smaller umbrellas which I categorize certain tasks...

From a copywriting standpoint, I focus on promotion through email and tweets, with the occasional product as well.

Each having its own area...
The gray areas represent drop down menus, I put actual tasks in the drop downs.

Anything I put in the Todoist inbox eventually gets a date put on it.

Next, the most important part...
REVIEWS!

You must do this, no question about it.

If you aren't analyzing and adjusting, you'll progress extremely slow.

Here's my method:
So, wrapping this all up:

Evernote is used to keep all goals:
25 year vision
Annual
Quarterly
Monthly

Todoist is used to break those goals down into the weekly and daily tasks.

A review is completed weekly, monthly, and annually.
All of this was inspired by only two resources... @TaylorPearsonMe numerous downloads on his website, where 95% of this came from, with my own minor adjustments... and also @TonyRobbins books on goal setting.

Lastly...
As mentioned above, I write every single day to my followers about selling with words.

My subscribers received this content via email awhile ago, they are well ahead of you already :)

Don't miss another email...
