==> 65 Ways to Dominate the 2nd Half of 2018 <==

I need to write Chapter 26 of my upcoming book for freelancers…

But I just realized it’s the 2nd half of 2018...

- Do you remember your New Year’s Resolutions?

- Do you remember how this was going to be “your year?”
Do you remember all the things you were supposed to do?

All the money you were supposed to make?

All the places you were supposed to see?

Well...?

Some of you are on track and that’s great.

But some of you aren’t (or worse - you’re falling behind).
So it’s time to restart your brain like you restart your computer.

We’re going to clear the cobwebs in your head so you can unfuck yourself and finish the 2nd half of 2018 strong.

Ready?
1. Read Psycho Cybernetics

Your life isn’t where you want it to be because the things you think and believe are colliding with reality.

To become successful, you need to think and act like the version of you that’s ALREADY successful.

This book will show you how.
2. Ditch the 2-hour morning routine

It’s just glorified procrastination.

3. Think quarterly instead of annually

Condense your activities into “90-day sprints”

Long timeframes are a double-edged sword:

Good for visualization, but bad for urgency.
4. Go through the sales funnels of your competitor

See what’s working, what’s missing, and what you can do better

5. Stop trying to do too many things at once

Automate, delegate or eliminate the things you don’t need to do yourself
Pick ONE goal that’s going to make a meaningful impact on your life.

Start today… and don't work on anything else until you complete that goal.

6. Watch "Jiro Dreams of Sushi"

A documentary that will teach you about mastery, humility, and passion.
7. Hire a Copywriter (like me)

A good Copywriter will help your business make lots and lots of money.

And if you don’t have a big budget, just hire me for a Conversion Consult so I can review your copy and give you feedback.
8. Focus on systems and processes over goals

I.e. inputs instead of outputs

9. Read “The Millionaire Fastlane”

Almost everything you’ve learned about building wealth and a business is wrong.
This book will help you focus on the right business models and investment strategies so you can make lots of money WHILE YOU’RE STILL YOUNG ENOUGH TO ENJOY IT (and help the people you love)

If you don’t get rich until your 80s, you fucked up
10. Learn cryptocurrency basics

Cryptocurrency is as revolutionary as the printing press, the automobile, radio, TV and the Internet.

Follow @RogueDarren @BigKevMcCarty and @KingBlessDotcom to learn how to make money in crypto
11. Identify the 80/20 of your business

> What are the 20% of products that generate 80% of your revenue?

> What are the 20% of marketing activities that lead to 80% of sales?

> Who are your top 20% of clients and customers?

This is one way to create LEVERAGE
12. Don't launch another shitty product when you can't even sell your current shitty product

13. Listen to these podcasts and get smarter every day

> Smartest Guys in Marketing

> MFCEO with @AndyFrisella

> Get Your Mind Right with @RyanStewman
14. Plan your future

Sit down this weekend and plan out your goals for the next 3 months

Then figure out the specific daily action steps you need to take to hit those goals.

You don’t need to wait until early January to get started.
15. Compare your business to other businesses, but don’t compare yourself to other business owners

16. Normalize success... BEFORE you reach it

You’ll be as successful as your expectations
17. Use the RFM formula to segment your audience and increase your sales

> Who has bought from your RECENTLY?
> Who buys from you FREQUENTLY?
> Who spends the most MONEY on your business?

These are your best customers/clients
18. Stop thinking that all you need is the right sales funnel

What you really need is the right target with the right offer

19. Solve a specific problem

Charge lots of money for this

You’re not going to get rich selling $7 e-books
20. Make focus a priority

You don't know how to focus because you don't know what's important to you

Read “Deep Work”

21. Stop trying to run your $5,000 a month business like a $100,000 a month business

You don’t have the same infrastructure, goals or resources
22. Stop wasting time trying to define your “Why”

I started my business to make shitloads of money, become location independent, do fun things, control my schedule, create financial security and help my clients grow their own businesses

Don't over complicate this

GET TO WORK
23. Dominate one platform before moving to another

If you’re not already killing it on one platform, there’s no reason for you to be on Facebook...

... and LinkedIn

...and Instagram

...and Snapchat

...and Pinterest

...and YouTube

...AT THE SAME TIME
24. Stop being cheap when it comes to investing in yourself

The top athletes, performers and CEOs have coaches

Shouldn’t you?

25. Realize that the most valuable asset is time, not money
26. Making an extra $500/mo is cool until you meet someone making $500,000 a month... with less effort

You're only impressed by the former because your standards are low
27. Don't hate on successful people just because they didn't follow "the rules" - i.e. your own set of limiting beliefs or fears

Talking shit about Tai Lopez, President Trump or Kylie Jenner has made a grand total of ZERO people rich or happy

28. Schedule recovery time
29. Don’t try to sell info products, physical products, and services at the same time until you hit at least 100K a month with one of them first

Pick ONE and scale that as far as you can go
30. Stop trying to “hack” things

You ain’t hacking shit

People get ahead by working smart and being persistent

You’ll advance faster by focusing on boulders instead of pebbles
31. Stop being afraid to sell

If you’re selling something of value, it’s your duty to share that with people
32. Stop wasting time trying think of ways to scale or systematize your business when you don’t even have an effective onboarding process that creates reliable, consistent, predictable sales

You need to walk before you run
33. Stop thinking that the customer is always right

Some people are idiots

This includes people you do business with
34. Get better at reverse engineering

If you know your goal's to make $50,000 a month, it’ll be a lot easier to figure out what steps you need to take to get there

35. $83,333/mo is $1M/yr

But don’t worry about that

Just focus on how you can make $2,778 a day
36. If you’re not turning business away, you’re doing something wrong

(Unless you’re a mass market company like Facebook, Netflix or Amazon)

37. Review your goals every morning

… but write them down as if they’ve ALREADY happened
38. Don’t be afraid to piss people off in your marketing (like in this post)

Better to have a strong Point of View than none at all

39. Do something that scares you every day

Success comes at the edge of comfort and fear
Hold on...

Long thread...

Let's stretch

40. Meet business contacts in person whenever possible

Email, Skype and FB Messenger are not replacements for this

41. Get in the habit of daily, weekly and quarterly reviews so you always have your hands on the pulse of your business
42. Create a 1-2 page Target Audience document that you can use as a reference for all of your marketing

I can help you with this…

43. Stop reading so many marketing and copywriting books

Read books on business, war, philosophy and psychology instead
44. Support your friends

Always look for ways to send your friends clients and introduce them to high-quality contacts

45. Email your list consistently and frequently

At least once a week (I can help you with this)
46. Without a clearly defined target audience and offer, you don’t have a successful business model

I can help you with this too...

47. Watch Shark Tank, the Profit and Kitchen Nightmares
48. Experiment with nootropics if you’re struggling with focus

E.g. Check out Adrafinil and Modafinil

My buddy @NomadicHustler has written about them

nomadichustle.com/?s=modafinil
49. Understand your hourly rate

E.g. If your time is worth $500 an hour, hire people to do all the tasks that generate less than $500 an hour in revenue.

This is ANOTHER way to create leverage
50. Learn how to make money on Twitter

@TJRicks_TSP a dope webinar that shows you how

gumroad.com/a/732738675

51. Don’t feel like your business needs to slow down in the summer

I’ve already made more money than I did in all of 2017
52. Subscribe to these email newsletters

@BenSettle - Email marketing

@TheCadClub - Relationships, Making Money Online and livin’ like a G

@AJA_Cortes Fitness, success and general unfucking of all the things you do to self-sabotage yourself
53. Use Toggl to track your time...

Trello to plan your day...

and Evernote to organize your research

==> Stop using a million tools <==
54. “You can tell if something's a priority by looking at your CALENDAR and your SPENDING.

If you're spending TIME and (optionally) MONEY on something, it just might be a priority.

If you're not, forget about it.”

-- @ramit
55. Once a month, spend a few hours working from the lobby of the most expensive hotel in your city to surround yourself with beauty, wealth and achievement

(Or rent an Airbnb with incredible views of the skyline or the beach)

Why?

Your environment is key
56. If your business isn’t growing, it’s usually because of one of two reasons:

> Lack of opportunity volume (traffic, leads)
> Lack of conversions (sales)

If you don’t know how to diagnose the problem, then you won’t find a solution.
57. Use a simple funnel to convert your high-ticket offers

Facebook ads > registration page > webinar > sales call

58. Create a Not To Do List

tim.blog/2007/08/16/the…
59. Evaluate your business and your offers by their VRIN score

> Does it have VALUE?

> Is it RARE?

> Is it INIMITABLE (difficult for competitors to copy)?

> Is it NON-SUBSTITUTABLE (there is no other place to access the information your post delivers)?
60. Ask yourself: “What would this look like if it were easy?”

61. Sell high-ticket offers ($1,000 and up)

62. Realize that compounding doesn’t just apply to financial investments

It applies to everything from relationships to skills to marketing.
63. Stop lowering your prices because you’re not confident in what you’re selling

Improve your product, your mindset or both.

64. Accept that “good enough” is always better than “perfect”
