1. Good for CNN for reporting that the Saudis used a Lockheed Martin bomb to massacre dozens of children in Yemen. It's extremely unusual for the US corporate press to connect the dots like this. But it's common to be able to trace back weapons to the US. cnn.com/2018/08/17/mid…
2. Coincidentally, right as we’re learning about the Lockheed bomb used to slaughter children in Yemen, experts were testifying about the Salvadoran government using bullets made in Lake City, Missouri to kill 800 civilians in the 1981 El Mozote massacre. v @NoahFBullock
3. This isn't new information, just a new court proceeding. The US-backed Salvadoran government's use of bullets made in Lake City, Missouri (and M16s also made in the US) to massacre 800 peasants in 1981 was described in a 1993 UN Truth Commission report.
4. In another instance where weapons used in a massacre can be traced back to their US manufacturers, in 1996 Israel destroyed an ambulance in Lebanon with a Hellfire missile made by Lockheed and Boeing. independent.co.uk/arts-entertain…
