GOP insisted on reviewing ALL of Elana Kagan’s WH documents before confirmation, but are pushing a September hearing for Kavanaugh with less than 1% reviewed.

We know that Kavanaugh would almost certainly mean the end of
Roe v Wade. Now, video has surfaced of him discussing Scalia’s opposition to gay marriage and abortion, categorizing them as “new rights,” not guaranteed under the Constitution.

Like most “originalists,” Kavanaugh seems to forget the 9th Amendment, which guarantees rights to the people not enumerated by the Constitution, as well as the First, which prohibited laws based on religious beliefs. More on this: m.huffpost.com/us/entry/71880…
Perhaps Sam Seaborn put it best when quoting the possibly apocryphal Georgia delegation reservations on the Bill of Rights at the Constitutional Convention of 1787, that some fool would insist the Constitution ONLY guaranteed those rights enumerated.

Senators are not receiving the call volume we need to have a chance at blocking Kavanaugh’s nomination. We need all Dems and 2 GOP Senators to vote no.

Demand that ALL of Kavanaughs WH documents must be reviewed before hearing.

The Trump admin cut the advertising budget for the ACA by 90%.

FOIA obtained emails show this was knowingly designed to harm enrollment, and they repeatedly lied about that fact.

Dem House oversight puts an end to the sabotage. Remember what they did when they had the power.
On a call w/ reporters, in response to whether HHS had studied the efficacy of advertising, an official said, “We haven’t done a specific study related to the public awareness of the program.”

It was a lie. They had, & knew it would harm enrollment.

The day open enrollment began, the Trump administrator of ACA benefits wrote a tweet designed to scare Americans away from enrolling.

Now that Dems have won House oversight, she’s promoting enrollment. Oversight stops the sabotage.

In 2010 Murkowski won a WRITE-IN CAMPAIGN (you try remembering how to spell M-U-R-K-O-W-S-K-I) against a right wing Republican who had primaried her. He had GOP $$ and establishment support (including in Senate) as the primary winner. She won. 2
Since then Murkowski handily won her 2016 election, including with mainstream GOP voters, and isn't up for reelection until 2022. That's a long runway. 3

Stop doing that - you're thinking like a Republican. (1)
Instead, think like a democrat. As a democrat, you realize that, a) If I throw a big enough tantrum, commit enough mayhem, I can always get another delay, and, b) I now have an entire extra week to commit more mayhem. (2)
During this week, the democrats will look for, and find, many more "victims" of serial gang rapist, degenerate reprobate Brett Kavanaugh, each less credible but more vigorously defended by the democrat machine than the one before. (3)

A few observations on the politics of #Kavanaugh

1) Democrats have driven the argument over his confirmation since day 1 of the hearings when they flagrantly interrupted committee proceedings and paid no price.
2) Dr. Ford's allegations seriously jeopardize Kavanaugh's nomination. But Ramirez's allegation, published a day after Ford 'committed' to Thursday's hearing, has had the effect of rallying conservative grassroots behind Kavanaugh.
3) Republicans now find themselves in the position of having to proceed with confirmation process—including an up-or-down vote after Thursday—or risk the collapse of grassroots support weeks before midterm elections.
