So I was just at truck stop (one of those TA travel centers). Dude in the bathroom was trying to get the lid off his refillable plastic cup — I guess to refill it in the bathroom sink. He used too much force and the thing popped into the air. The lid went one way... 1/3
The container hit the floor and rolled under the door of an occupied stall. The owner retrieved the cup from the polite stranger on the throne. And commenced to wash out the beverage container in the sink. Now... 2/3
This all may be fine from the vantage point of thrift and hygiene. But as a mild germaphobe, I can circle several parts of this story with a red pen and write “NOPE!” in the margins. I would rather get a new $2.99 cup. Or a bottle of water. Or go thirsty.
