Important piece by @martinwolf_ : tldr if the centre left/right don’t come up with solutions to our economic problems, others will. As a competition lawyer, my interest was particularly piqued by a paper by Andy Haldane that Martin cited.

It suggests an increase in monopoly profit/mark-ups. In UK more than EU27.
The difficulty here is to think of effective policy solutions. “Toughening” anti-trust law is easier said than done.
Increasing barriers to trade between the U.K. and the EU27 is rather unlikely to be the answer, though.
