If you want to remember Warren Zevon tonight, the 15y anniversary of his passing, may I recommend the LARRY SANDERS SHOW episode in which he appeared? It shouldn't be on YouTube, but since it is .... this is classic and perfect. Written by Peter Tolan.
If you have only the time for one or two songs, start with "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner," from Zevon's final Letterman appearance.

It really bothers me to see REVENGE OF THE NERDS listed at all, let alone as high as 8th, on a list like this. Anyone viewing the film with contemporary eyes should be horrified by it. vulture.com/article/25-bes…

Last night, The George Lucas Talk Show held its 5th annual "Life Day" celebration with guests David Harbour, John Levenstein, Chris Barron and Rachel Antonoff!
We gave away toys & gifts to the audience, many of them generously donated to the show by @CraigShemin & @DAbruzzoTweets & the rest paid for by "George Lucas."

While we did this, Chris Barron volunteered to play the riff from "Two Princes"! That counts as a Life Day miracle!

I did an entire thread to the Manafort - Devine connection.

It was recently revealed that Devine was sharing polling data with Manafort during the primary. They are all in this together & the media ignores it purposely.
@MaddowBlog why?
1/ After it was revealed on @maddow that Manafort/Russia was working as far back as 2012 to smear Hillary Clinton it made more sense.

Think about this. Who was going to primary against Pres Obama in 2012? Bernie Sanders
2/ Why didn't #Sanders follow through? My opinion based on the timeline of events & the extensive research I have done on #TadDevine, is that Sanders was told to hold off until 2016 by Devine. We know that Devine was working with #Manafort on the Ukraine election during this time

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."
