U.A.E. will allow retirees to stay in the country in an unprecedented move to help retain capital. Only those above 55 years old would be able to apply for 5-year visas.. But only if they qualify and it kinda has to do with how much money they have..

2. Savings of no less than $272,000
3. Monthly income of $5,445

It annoys me that we insist of having the abortion conversation out of context. There's A LOT of legal, societal, economic aspects to abortion that we ignore when we take @EzekielMutua's uninformed & plebeian view to it so I'm going to spend today morning providing some context.

A.26 of the Constitution allows for abortion when, in the view of a trained health professional :
a) there is need for emergency treatment
b) the life or health of the mother is in danger
Or where it is provided for by written law
The Constitution is the highest law of the land so what it says goes.
Unfortunately, Ministry of Health didn't get this memo and in 2013 banned doctors and nurses from performing them and attending trainings on how to perform them safely.

Ignore the polls and get out there and #Vote on November 6th. Relying on polling is a relic of a time gone by.
I’m not saying looking at @FiveThirtyEight’s model and charts and stuff isn’t cool, because it is and provides some insight. But no matter what the numbers say, it’s most certainly NEVER an excuse to not #Vote because you feel your peeps are a “lock”
Need nothing further than to point to 2016. Which by the way, @FiveThirtyEight didn’t really have wrong, but the “selected not elected” mindset existed before 2016. Why else would over 100 million people choose NOT to participate in their civic duty to choose their leaders.

Thread. Serious Case Review National Repository, 27th August 2018.
A professional decided to do a search and analysis of serious case reviews, as one is ALWAYS completed when a child dies, commits suicide or is seriously injured via neglect, abuse etc.
There were 226 serious case reviews in the last 10 yrs tagged with 'suicide' but that includes murder/suicides, which a lot of them were - parents killing their kids & then committing suicide, causing the tag. Out of 226 cases, 163 were kids who committed suicide in past 10 yrs.
There were no suicides of trans children in UK in last 10 years in serious case reviews. The tag 'gender identity' returns no serious case reviews.
