We keep referring to what the Democrats did to Kavanaugh as "mob rule," but it was actually much worse than that. It was Trial By Party. The Democrat Party judged him guilty without trial and attempted to enforce its verdict.
Real mob actions are messy and imprecise. The Democrat hit job on Kavanaugh was tightly scripted, carefully orchestrated, and very expensive. Total up the value of the in-kind contributions the media made to this political campaign and you're into hundreds of millions of dollars.
And it was never anything but an explicit Party trial and judgment, little different from how the Communist Party in Marxist countries has powers above and beyond the nominal government. The Dems never really tried to convict Kav with anything resembling a fair legal process.
The whole debacle was a pure exercise of Party command and Party loyalty. The Democrat Party decreed him guilty and ordered all true believers to behave accordingly. They're still frantically trying to enforce Party discipline by punishing anyone who failed to heed the call.
Everything Democrats said about Kavanaugh reeks of pure undiluted totalitarianism, especially insane formulations like "all women must believe Ford" or "supporting Kavanaugh is an attack on all rape survivors." That's another way of saying dissent is criminal.
Also deeply totalitarian is the Democrat Party's tacit (and in some cases not-so-tacit) endorsement of political violence. It's a natural extension of the Party's doctrine that dissent from its edicts is criminal. They're authorizing vigilantes to ride out and enforce Party law.
The message Democrats have been beaming directly into the skulls of their followers for the past three weeks, as they doubled down again and again on the Kavanaugh hit, is that everyone who supported him is a willing accessory to the abuse of women.
In other words, dissent from Democrat Party dogma on Kavanaugh is a crime, and the government has become so corrupted in the hands of misogynist white supremacists that it can't prosecute that crime correctly, so the Party's volunteers must handle the job.
The good news is, these ugly forces can be pushed right back into their bottle. The rage of the Left is NOT organic or widespread. It's organized and directed by Party leaders and funded by their big organizations. It takes a huge amount of effort for them to sustain Party rage.
You'll be amazed how quickly all of this ugliness subsides if Democrat Party leadership decides it's counterproductive to their political agenda - i.e. they get walloped in the next election. Party ideology will turn on a dime if that happens.
Party leadership can snap its fingers and turn off the media megaphones for crazy left-wing extremists. It can give orders that will shut down the street theater and rein in violent demonstrations. This stuff is all orchestrated, and the orchestra can end.
Where would the Kavanaugh madness have been without DNC Media pushing it 24 hours a day, making up fake stories as needed to keep the frenzy going, aiming cameras and microphones at every phony posturing Democrat leader?
You teach the Democrat Party a lesson by pummeling them at the ballot box in November, and I promise you this madness will get better overnight. Reward them and I promise you it will instantly get worse, and the next Trial By Party will be even more deranged. /end
