Wow. Even had to lie about *this*, Joe. Your timeline doesn't add up; this is yet another acknowledgment that THE HILL saw liability here and put out a false story about catching the issue itself so that it could craft a libel-proof narrative. This is...very bad. @MichaelAvenatti
2/ Concha is saying that *first* an editor told him he was wrong, *then* he argued with me on Twitter that he was right, *then* he saw that he was wrong and made the edit. I don't believe that; no one on Twitter does. I caught the libel; Concha argued with me; then he fixed it.
3/ I urge people to follow this exchange, as this sort of thing is happening more frequently than we think. Media outlets get things wrong, which is fine, as we're all human; *then* they are *told* they're wrong and it's *proven* to them; then they argue and sometimes do nothing.
