I think my dad finally understands what I do for a living. I think. It took 10 years, but I am glad we are here. I also used the opportunity to educate in on how card payment works. It finally made sense to him. Next up; my father in-law.
I think the clincher was explaining to him how I pay for airline tickets. This also reinforces the belief that complex concepts can be made simpler if you can relate it with everyday life.
I think it was also a learning opportunity for me as I struggled to come up with an analogy that made the most sense. It was an opportunity to explain how the PAN, CVV, PIN and OTP all come together to enable a successful transaction.

Privilege is indeed about choice. The only why people can deny female privilege is then to claim that women's choice is a forced decision and men's forced position is a choice.
Which is exactly the lie that feminists tell.
I'm reporting that feminists are wrong about being forced to stay at home, becasue they are.
Being *allowed* - not *forced* - to stay at home is a privilege. Historically only some women had that privilege. Men were *forced* - not *allowed* - to go to work to support women.
The difference between being *allowed* to do something and being *forced* is important.
It's the difference between employment and slavery.
Between sex and rape.
Between imprisonment and accommodation.

So we're just over 50% through with this session of #500queries and I have a few minutes before a call, so let's do a quick thead on query "rules"
There are hundreds of businesses and blogs out there trying to convince you that there is one right way to write a query. That you have to follow all these ridiculous rules, and that agents love turning you down.
The prevailing idea is often that agents make these rules so that they can delight in crushing your dreams. First thing first: I do not want to spend my weekends and nights not getting paid to maybe make a stranger cry.

After quite a bit of development, we finally have an open beta for the world. Exciting! So what is @getchipmunk, exactly? Why did we make this?
Our journey as a company started in consulting (game dev, simulation, VR). We bounced around a few projects, jumping between code and lots of assets. In addition, we published a few products on @unity3d's Asset Store.
Keeping track of all of the stuff we make was one of the *most difficult* problems we faced. As a small, bootstrapped business we didn't have access to things like enterprise asset management systems.
