2/ Tech in long-term creates new and more jobs.
But in short term takes more US jobs than FOREIGNERS do.
Tech also takes more jobs FROM foreigners which creates more unrest which creates more problems which UBI does not solve unless it is UNIVERSAL and includes entire world

3/ Much (not all) of the UBI talk has a cringe-worthy out-of-touch tinge of self-congrulatory voluntary flagellation...pre-emptive ‘eat the rich’ pitch-fork staving...feigned concern + phony problem solving by guilt-assuaging affluent & limousine-liberal-lucky tithing pentance.
