First newspaper I've bought in 18 years. Hopefully some high enough resolution images here that everyone can read the content.
Front cover, inside spread and last inside page.
It was £1.60 - which was surprising. I think it was 40p last time I bought one. Maybe that's (very fittingly today) due to inflation and a need to cover losses as they continue to be replaced by less centralised sources of news ;-)

A short Sunday tale...
1/ A group of people find the ideal offices to work from, lovely environment, well furnished and situated close to where they all live. It's perfect. They collectively hire security guards who they pay well on a daily contract basis. All is well until...
2/ The security guards have a meeting and decide that they don't like commuting to work. They decide that the following week they won't turn up at the offices but instead will guard a different, vacant building closer to where *they* all live.
3/ They tell the happy office workers that they will need to relocate their equipment and travel to the new location or risk having no security next week. The office folk shrug and put out an advert for new security staff. "Turn up and get paid!" is the simple-to-fulfill offer.

1/ BCash's 1 min block proposal and attempts to make 0-conf safe are nasty fudges to work around inherent restraints in the base layer already solved by layered protocols. The more of these hacked "work arounds" that come to light the more clear it is they chose the wrong path...
2/ Scaling through block size increases alone compromises decentralisation and introduces trust. Trusting 0-conf requires you ignore why a blockchain and PoW were required in the first place. 1 minute blocks compromises security, changes inflation etc.
3/ I don't know how much longer they can keep willfully deceiving themselves until they consider that the near universally accepted method of network scaling through layered protocols might have been the right choice all along... but it will be a fair while yet I imagine.

Years ago, I used to say the best time to have money is when you’re young and can enjoy it. Now, I’ve realized that you need money more when you are older. Kids, retirement etc. Don’t be desperate. You don’t have today, you can have tomorrow & still enjoy life.

There is no latecomer in the “success world” or “rich world”. Whenever you get there, you are welcome. You will enjoy your life and almost forget you ever suffered. It doesn’t have to be now and there is no prize for being the first person to get “there”.
When I was in my teens and early twenties & a bit of late twenties, I used to marvel at how some of my age mates were enjoying life. I felt I would never catch up and they were already ahead of me. Tah! There is nothing like that. Today, none of us remembers who succeeded first.

Right let’s talk folks. About home. What’s in it anyway? Home is home right? Just like Brexit is Brexit, it can mean different things to different people. It’s just surprising how *many* people equate home with place. Home is not a house or town or country. 1/
Home is where you feel safe. It may be where your loved ones, your family, live but it doesn’t have to be. It may be temporary, where you’re staying, but it’s still home as it’s where you have decided to spend your life. Even if just for now. 2/
Home is where you can relax. Where you can love and sleep and eat in peace. Without fear or worry that any moment someone will come knocking at the door to take you away. 3/

Ten years ago this evening, CPT Mike Medders was killed by a suicide bomber in Diyala Province, Iraq. He was my friend. He was my brother. I could share so much about him, but this story — from after his death — speaks to how much he was loved. 1/
In 2011, the officers of Sabre Squadron, 2/3 ACR gathered to celebrate Mike’s life in his hometown. There was a charity golf tournament that day to benefit his foundation. That night we joined his family and dozens of his friends for a party in his honor at his sister’s house. 2/
There were stories. There was lots of alcohol. We filled the house. We filled the driveway. We celebrated Mike. Then, suddenly, we heard the unmistakable sound of bagpipes playing Amazing Grace. 3/
