Wohl is ragging on the media for "breathlessly" reporting on the bizarre payoff scheme claims. No one reported the claims -- which circulated in a mysterious email days ago -- until Wohl/Burkman started hyping their accuser, and every report noted the sketchiness of the email .

They say they're going to file a police report by the end of next week, but now they're sort of backtracking that b/c it's "up to" their client.
