Firms are under the pressure of huge taxes without seeing any enabling environment to balance their books. They had to constantly downsize and marginalize workers to make ends meet. No power, no good roads, Economy is near collapse & yet like Mafias Govt jubilates over Taxes.

Real estate depreciation is something every real estate investor uses. It’s not a scam.

If you expense an asset purchase in year one, you get a major tax loss which could be carried forward to offset future taxes.

Or you depreciate it over time.

Journalists are dumb.
If a real estate purchase was considered a business expense (which it is as their business is buying and selling real estate) then you’d have a multi million dollar loss in the year you made the purchase.

If you show tax loss you get to carry it forward.

This is basic stuff
Another thing they don’t tell you.

Once you sell the property? All that depreciation gets put back into the calculation!

The only way to truly avoid the depreciation trap is to do a Starker exchange which again is standard practice.

In 2011 I got to perform, along with @aishatyler & @StephMillerShow on the @sexyliberaltour, at one of the most beautiful theaters in America, the Detroit Opera House. We found out Aretha wanted to come & bring 11 friends.
2. We had only planned on selling the orchestra section so we offered the queen & her court the entire mezzanine. We also offered her comps but she insisted on paying for the tickets for her entire party.
3. The orchestra section was packed & it was a spectacular crowd. Nobody knew who was sitting above them as the show began. Backstage we had agreed to hold the curtain until her entire group was seated.

1) Mike, it honestly pains me to write this but I don't know what good you are doing now in this Anti-brexit fight, in fact I'm starting to think your position is comprised in some way.

I appreciate you gave up on staying in the EU almost 18 months ago but this is getting weird
2) in the last few weeks you've attacked the #FBPE initiative, the LDs (calling them austerity enablers) & the remainer movement in general.
You've also now pivoted to saying "the only possible path is Corbyn's Labour" & you're even now getting behind Owen Jones
3) these may be positions independently arrived at, nonetheless they also line up exactly with the aims & approach of Labour momentum (who, for example, constantly follow the anti LD position & who hate #FBPE ). If it quacks like a duck & all that
