UK has not done 1) or 2). It has given no guarantee at all--just stated its general policy is that if the US was to ask to kill Assange they would ask for life imprisonment instead. and for 2) it explicitly states it refuses to confirm or deny

That's right. The US policy towards WikiLeaks is literally based on someone they say was so paranoid and psychotic that they had to boot her out of the CIA (an organization that is not known for its high standard of mental health).
CIA then pushed this "non-state intelligence agency" position they had plagiarized from Williams into the Senate Intel Committee which placed it into the 2018 Intel Authorization Act. US law is now literally work of someone CIA claims is a "psychotic". cato.org/blog/wikileaks…

That's right. The CIA's policy towards WikiLeaks is literally based on someone they say was so psychotic they had to boot her out of the CIA. [she also tried to get a job at WikiLeaks but didn't pass due diligence].
