Dr. Brenda Snipes, Broward SOE, said the county is done counting early voting ballots, with only mail-in and provisional ballots left. She said she’ll have an estimate on how many are left to count “soon”
Snipes’ Office has accepted 205 of about 600 provisional ballots. About 30 of those denied provisional ballots were cast by people who already voted by mail and tried to vote again in person.
Snipes said she will answer the question of if the county gathered all the bins after this canvassing meeting

Re: the accusations of double voting as voter fraud. @BrowardSOE lawyer Lisa Crawford (and several voting rights lawyers in the room) say these aren’t automatically voter fraud. The state attorney’s office would have to prove intent and that it’s not just a mistake
Lawyers for Florida Republican Party, Rick Scott’s campaign & Matt Caldwell’s campaign are challenging @browardsoe for not letting canvassing board review 205 accepted votes & just tabulating them. They’ve filed official objection quoting FL statute 101 048 AA
Bill Nelson’s campaign lawyer says this is incorrect use of statute (says it only applies if eligibility is unable to be determined) and called it an “effort to suppress the vote”
