The Jaiminiya Brahmana has very crucial historical information. Information that fills the vacuum of the post mahabharata era- 2nd millenium BCE. Only the colonial British have taken any interest in them. Only about 1/3rd the JB has been translated.
The Gandhara texts are the oldest Indian manuscripts ever recovered and vital to Buddhism. Found in clay pots in monastery ruins, they were smuggled & scattered. Western varsities recovered & published a fraction of it. Yet no Indian govt has ever tried to obtain even one leaf.
