Clownish authento bullshit, I organised extensively and successfully against bad pay and zero hours contracts including with Czech, Polish and Spanish comrades. We organised together and won because workers fractured on "nationality" are weak.
It's a weird take: capital hates borders, capital's extremely powerful, you know, and yet, and yet, there are huge restrictions on the movement of people. How does that work? The EU's a bosses' club and it has hard, murderous external borders.
Seriously, a politics where the main defence of working class conditions is through an authoritarian state (in this case round borders) is going to run up against some pretty hard limits pretty much immediately.
Capital likes a regime where workers are more rooted than capital (being able to move for better wages is a significant bargaining component), where the working class is fractured by imperialism and racism, where a section of the workforce are made more vulnerable.
Absurd neo-corporatist, labour aristocracy, piss weak labourist politics trying to dress itself up all edgy.
Though obviously there are certain lines in Poulantzas in particular that would be useful for thinking this overlap of piss weak labourism and Stalinism.
