Has anyone ever heard the saying, be careful what you ask for? Sometimes you want something so bad you can taste it. You don't know how bad it will be for yourself, but you want it anyways. You want to see someone punished, but don't realize you will be punished too.Sill want it?
I will give an example. When you were in school, what did the kids hate the most? A tattle tale right? What did they do to tattle tales? Treated them terribly. No friends, no fun. And the friends of the person that was told on will attack the one that told, relentlessly. FACT!
Then what happens is too many start to get involved over it and fight about it. So what does the teacher do? Declares a sort of Marshall law. Everyone has to go back to the classroom and play time is suspended until everyone can get along. Who knows how long that takes.
Now even the good kids are being punished. Everyone is suffering for this tattle tale. Its an example, but very real as to what will happen if certain people go down. There are 10's of thousands in waiting for something bad to happen to one of their evil leaders. Sad but true.
If they can't have what they want, then no one can. They would rather everyone suffers, then allow the good guys win. Civil unrest will ensue. People will not be rejoicing in the streets, or in their homes. They will live in constant fear. I am a big picture guy, no fairy tales!
What needs to be done is right and good for everyone. But the consequences for all Americans will not be acceptable to almost anyone. So be careful what you wish for, you might just get a kick in the but on the way out. Should justice be served? Yes it should. But at what cost?
