A major problem for me is that the media doesn’t even try to help clarify these issues in any way. Most of the reporting you read is ‘he said she said’. Very little of ‘these are the known and verified facts of the matter’

Look at the matter of the $1bn approved by NEC for the insurgency. Everyone runs with the story of ‘Ah the money has been squandered’ - when in fact it hasn’t even been released/paid (apart from the ~$500m paid directly to the US Govt for Super Tucanos).
What’s the point of Media if it’s simply to be a mouthpiece/amplifier for any and every thing any and every one says?
