Where were all the "Powerful Local Groups" when you were crying to @segalink to save you from SARS?

Let's talk numbers, people. Jimi Agbaje needs an average of 60k people per LGA to win.

If we group ourselves by LGA and get Twitter Groups of 1000people in each LGA and we each convince just 10 people each, that is 10k votes. It is something.

It Is Very Doable. Very.

We just need you to join a local Twitter Group and convince 10 people. Pere. Simpu.

Look, it's either we make this Twitter thing truly POWERFUL or we just keep yapping.

Just to clarify. These Twitter Groups will meet offline and be the foundation for future organisation and activities. This is a sensible workable scheme.

This group will not be a PDP group. It is an independent group that will give young educated people the power and structure to be involved in shaping their environment.

For example, we could study candidates for senatorial seats and adopt @BankyW in his own senatorial district.

We have to come together to build an institution that can actually help the best candidates get into power& hold them accountable post-elections.

See, the truth is we must find a way to have a strong presence offline in every LGA to push for policies that will help our lives.

We have to build from the Foundations.

We have to learn how to connect emotionally with the masses and influence their political positions.

We can't keep waiting for Messiahs. We need to build a SYSTEM that makes it easy for well-meaning people to contribute their quota.

The ONLY thing that can save Nigeria is an organised& politically powerful Middle-Class that takes responsibility for the Masses and is powerful enough to negotiate with the Elite.

We have been looking for Messiahs for 60 years. Let us try a systemic approach instead.

Nothing stops us from choosing to adopt @FireOFola for LGA chairperson or HOA for example.

We need to build the power to put the right people in the system. You need to fight a system with a system.
