Your friends are boring
Same thing day in & day out
Too much free time
You reliant on alcohol to have fun
You don't challenge yourself
You don't celebrate your wins
Then make the moves to change.
'Will it be easy?'
In the beginning, nah.
But with time & consistency, ya.
'Can you lmk how to get started?'
Sure, 5$ please.
'Forreall?'
Nah jk 👇
Incorporate rest sessions.
Make sure when you are resting, you are ACTUALLY resting.
Do not rest one second, check your emails the next, then rest, then send emails etc.
Focus on unwinding.
When was your last adventure?
'Well last week, I went to Walmart at midnight to buy cookie dough.'
Fool!
That's no adventure.
Travel somewhere you've never been.
Gather your squad (or go by yourself) & be spontaneous.
When you carry yourself like a robot, boredom is imminent.
Connect with your inner child homie.
Incorporate creativity into your life.
Ex: draw, expressive writing, do improv etc.
You my friend, have stagnated.
No wonder you never have fun.
You haven't learned diddly squat since graduating college.
Fix that.
We live in the information age.
Go find some topics to educate yourself on.
If your friends are boring, then that will have a spillover effect if yall chill alot.
Either get new friends, add new friends to your circle or get more comfortable hanging out with yourself.
How are you going to have fun if you're so damn repetitive?
'Uh...'
Exactly.
Find atleast one new thing to incorporate into your day.
Then work your way up from there.
Excessive time will have you feeling hella bored.
'So what do I do?'
Fill up your time with hobbies.
Problem solved.
If you rely on alcohol to have fun, what will happen when you're sober?
'I'll be bored.'
Exactly.
Make sure you are able to have fun without alcohol or you will always feel empty.
If you have been doing the same EXACT things this year that you did last year, then being bored is a no brainer.
Humans were meant to be challenged.
Find something to force your growth.
'Any suggestions?'
Join Toastmasters & public speak.
Not celebrating your wins will always make you feel unfulfilled.
I'm speaking from experience.
Idc how small it is.
Celebrate it. Be grateful.
'Even if I just gave up my seat to an elderly person in the bus?'
Ya, celebrate your compassion.
There are tons of ways to get around this.
So if you find yourself falling in any of the categories, make moves to change TODAY.
That's all folks! *Porky Pig voice*
