Michael Flynn.

Let's hammer this point home with a thread.
When Crossfire Hurricane was opened on July 31, 2016 by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Flynn was one of the four targets, specifically in relation to the Russia Today anniversary in Moscow, Russia on December 10, 2015.

On August 9, 2016, the Flynn Intel Group signed a contract with Inovo BV for $600,000.00 over 90 days to discredit Fethullah Gulen.

nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/…
On August 15, 2016, Hillary For America issued out the e-mail "Trump Owes Americans Answers on Troubling Ties to Pro-Kremlin Forces", which mentioned his connection to Michael Flynn for the Russia Today dinner.

On August 17, 2016, Flynn attended a classified intelligence briefing with Donald Trump and Governor Chris Christie, hosted by officials from either ODNI or the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Which was leaked.

nbcnews.com/politics/2016-…
In September 2016, Inovo BV started to pay the Flynn Intel Group.

On September 9, 2016, Evan McMullin suggested during an interview on CNN with Kate Bolduan that there was blackmail material on Donald Trump, and again mentioned the connection between Flynn and Russia Today America.

On September 19, 2016, Michael Flynn and Bijan Kian met with Berat Albayrak and Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in New York, NY.

reuters.com/article/us-usa…
In late October 2016, Bijan Kian invited employees of the House Homeland Security Committee to Flynn Intel Group's headquarters in Virginia.

reuters.com/article/us-usa…
It was on November 8, 2016 that Michael Flynn wrote an opinion piece for The Hill, "Our ally Turkey is in crisis and needs our support", which was about Fethullah Gulan.

thehill.com/blogs/pundits-…
So, as mentioned at the start, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was investigating the Russia Today dinner. Crossfire Hurricane's full scope was only known by 5 Justice Department officials.

nytimes.com/2018/05/16/us/…
The investigation into Flynn's dinner in Russia was "nearly ready to close"... only for it to be re-opened due to his November 8 opinion piece about Fethullah Gulan, allowing the Federal Bureau of Investigation to continue investigating Flynn.

nytimes.com/2018/05/16/us/…
On November 30, 2016, the United States Department of Justice informed Michael Flynn that his work with the Flynn Intel Group and Inovo BV was being checked.

nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/…
On either December 1 or 2, 2016, Jared Kushner and Michael Flynn met with Ambassador Sergey Kislyak at Trump Tower in New York, NY.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
Before December 15, 2016, United States border agents in the United Arab Emirates discovered Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan's name on a flight manifest from the United Arab Emirates to New York, NY.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
On December 15, 2016, George Nader and Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan met with Michael Flynn, Jared Kushner and Steve Bannon at Trump Tower.

edition.cnn.com/2017/09/13/pol…

nymag.com/daily/intellig…
After December 15, 2016, Susan Rice unmasked the identifies of the Trump transition team members (including Flynn) whom attended the meeting with Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.

edition.cnn.com/2017/09/13/pol…
In mid-December 2016, The Washington Post received an anonymous letter which detailed the meeting between Kushner, Flynn and Kislyak, and their attempts to discuss an alleged communications channel between Trump's transition team and Russia.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
On December 19, 2016, Michael Flynn contacted Ambassador Sergey Kislyak to offer condolences for the assassination of Ambassador Andrei Karlov in Turkey.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
On December 28, 2016, President Barack Obama signed an executive order announcing sanctions against Russia, which was followed by Ambassador Sergey Kislyak contacting Michael Flynn to discuss the sanctions.

nytimes.com/interactive/20…
On December 29, 2016, 35 officials from the Russian Embassy of the United States were expelled as a result of the executive order, leading to Flynn contacting the transition team, Ambassador Kislyak and the transition team again about the situation.

nytimes.com/interactive/20…
On December 31, 2016, Ambassador Kislyak contacted Flynn and said that Russia had chosen not to escalate the situation due to Flynn's request. Flynn then informed the transition team of the call.

nytimes.com/interactive/20…
As this was happening, on December 30, 2016, intelligence analysts investigated information to determine why President Putin had not responded to President Obama's sanctions, which led to the discovery of the calls between Ambassador Kislyak and Flynn.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
This led to agents at the Federal Bureau of Investigation writing a secret report surrounding the conversation between Ambassador Kislyak and Flynn. Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates considered a Logan Act case against Flynn for the conversation.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
This was because the calls between Flynn and Kislyak had been intercepted and reviewed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
So, by January 4, 2017, the Federal Bureau of Investigation was officially investigating Flynn for a third time for something separate again: the Flynn-Kislyak calls. Flynn, however, does not know this.

nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/…
On January 4, 2017, Michael Flynn informed Donald McGahn that he was under investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation... for his lobbying efforts for Turkey, NOT for the calls.

nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/…
On the same day, Flynn's lawyer, Robert Kelner, reached out to the lawyers of President-elect Donald Trump's transition team and left a voice mail message.

nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/…
On January 5, 2017, President Obama was briefed by Director James Clapper, Director James Comey, Director John Brennan and Admiral Michael Rogers about the 2-page synopsis on the Steele dossier and the report about Russian interference.

edition.cnn.com/2017/01/10/pol…
Shortly after this, President Obama, Director Comey, Deputy Attorney General Yates, Vice President Joe Biden and Susan Rice held a meeting in the Oval Office to discuss a topic, an FBI investigation to be done "by the book".

grassley.senate.gov/news/news-rele…
It was not about the Steele dossier though.

"Then-President Barack Obama suggested intelligence officials be cautious about sharing information about the Russia investigation with the Trump transition team, particularly Michael Flynn".

businessinsider.com/susan-rice-law…
Which is odd, unless you knew about the Kislyak-Flynn calls, and the investigation into it.
On January 6, 2017, Robert Kelner and the Trump transition team lawyers discussed Flynn being under investigation for lobbying efforts for Turkey during the election by the FBI.

nytimes.com/2017/05/17/us/…
On January 12, 2017, David Ignatius published the article "Why did Obama dawdle on Russia's hacking?" in The Washington Post, which revealed the existence of the Kislyak-Flynn calls for the first time from a "senior U.S. government official".

washingtonpost.com/opinions/why-d…
On January 14, 2017, Flynn informed Vice President-elect Mike Pence that he did not discuss sanctions against Russia with Ambassador Kislyak.

nytimes.com/interactive/20…
On January 19, 2017, Yates, Clapper, Brennan and Comey discussed how to inform the incoming Trump administration about the Kislyak-Flynn calls. They considered telling Pence, McGahn, Priebus and Trump about them. Comey was against informing them.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
On January 22, 2017, Carol E. Lee, Devlin Barrett and Shane Harris, with contributions from Paul Sonne and Damian Paletta, published "U.S. Eyes Michael Flynn's Links to Russia", which detailed the counterintelligence investigation about the calls.

wsj.com/articles/u-s-e…
On the same day, Flynn informed Sean Spicer that he had not discussed sanctions with Ambassador Kislyak.

nytimes.com/interactive/20…
On January 23, 2017, Ellen Nakashima and Greg Miller published the article "FBI reviewed Flynn's calls with Russian ambassador but found nothing illicit" in The Washington Post.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
On the same day, Sean Spicer informed the press that Flynn's conversations with Ambassador Kislyak touched four subjects but not sanctions, which was noticed by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the United States Department of Justice.

nytimes.com/2017/02/14/us/…
At this point, Acting Attorney General Sally Yates contacted Director Comey to discuss Spicer's comments about Flynn, where they agreed to inform Donald McGahn about Flynn's calls with Kislyak about sanctions.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
Peter Strzok and Lisa Page then texted each other about Strzok's stress towards a plan which could potentially fail and his confusion over the actions of Jennifer Boone and her department, the Counterproliferation Section.

scribd.com/document/37754…
On January 24, 2017, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe contacted a scheduler to arrange the interview between Peter Strzok and Joe Pientka with Flynn in the White House, on the orders of Director Comey.

edition.cnn.com/2017/08/03/pol…

nbcnews.com/politics/donal…

nytimes.com/2017/02/14/us/…
This led to Strzok and Pientka interviewing Flynn in his office at the White House with no lawyers present for it.

nbcnews.com/politics/donal…
On January 26, 2017, Acting Attorney General Yates informed both McGahn and James Burnham that Flynn had lied about his interactions with Kislyak.

washingtonpost.com/politics/spice…

nytimes.com/2017/05/16/us/…
Donald McGahn then briefed President Donald Trump, Steve Bannon and Reince Priebus about his interactions with Sally Yates and the issues surrounding Flynn.

nbcnews.com/politics/donal…
On February 8, 2017, [REDACTED] texted [REDACTED] that they had a conversation with [REDACTED] about them visiting Flynn's office and being unable to gain something (presumably "valuable information").

scribd.com/document/37754…
On the same day, Flynn was interviewed by reporters at The Washington Post, where he denied discussing sanctions with Ambassador Kislyak.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
Also on the same day, Flynn and Comey sat with each other in the lobby of the White House, something he would e-mail James Rybicki about and then write about in the third of his memos.

On February 9, 2017, Vice President Pence learned that Flynn had misled him about his calls with Ambassador Kislyak.

washingtonpost.com/news/post-poli…
On the same day, Flynn's spokesperson contacted reporters at The Washington Post, where he suggested that Flynn could not be certain if conversations about sanctions came up in his conversation with Ambassador Kislyak.

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
Again on the same day, Matthew Rosenberg and Matt Apuzzo, with contributions from Adam Goldman and Michael S. Schmidt, published "Flynn Is Said to Have Talked to Russians About Sanctions Before Trump Took Office" in The New York Times.

nytimes.com/2017/02/09/us/…
On February 10, 2017, President Trump said he was unaware of Flynn's calls to Ambassador Kislyak while he was riding on Air Force One.

edition.cnn.com/2017/02/10/pol…
On February 11, 2017, Flynn completed a public financial disclosure report.

i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2017/image…
On February 13, 2017, Flynn officially resigned from his position as National Security Adviser at the Trump Administration.

edition.cnn.com/2017/02/13/pol…
On the same day, the Federal Bureau of Investigation's executive management engaged in a video teleconference where they discussed Flynn. One senior executive suggested the FBI had a personal motivation in investigating Flynn and ruining his career.

thehill.com/homenews/admin…
Gee, where have I heard that kind of thing before?

Although I will stress: the "Fuck Flynn and then we Fuck Trump" comment was days BEFORE Flynn's resignation.

On the same day (February 13), Adam Entous, Ellen Nakashima and Philip Rucker, with contributions from Karen DeYoung and Greg Miller, published "Justice Department warned White House that Flynn could be vulnerable to Russian blackmail, officials say".

washingtonpost.com/world/national…
On February 14, 2017, Richard Pollock published "EXCLUSIVE: In Final Interview, Defiant Flynn Insists He Crossed No Lines, Leakers Must Be Prosecuted" in The Daily Caller.

dailycaller.com/2017/02/14/exc…
On the same day, Brian Stelter published "How leaks and investigative journalists led to Flynn's resignation" in CNN.

Way to go, Brian!

money.cnn.com/2017/02/14/med…
Also on the same day, Peter Baker, Glenn Thrush, Maggie Haberman, Adam Goldman and Julie Hirschfeld Davis, with contributions from Matt Apuzzo and Michael S. Schmidt, published "Flynn's Downfall Sprang From 'Eroding Levels of Trust'".

nytimes.com/2017/02/14/us/…
The "Flynn's Downfall Sprang From 'Eroding Levels of Trust'" article was discussed by Peter Strzok and Lisa Page in text messages.

"Bottom line Mike ran through boss' thinking/timeline/narrative on this."

edition.cnn.com/2018/09/14/pol…
Peter Strzok and Lisa Page also texted the following the same day:

"Also, Andy is good with F 302?"

"Fyi, have wrap at 345. Done at 430"
"Launch on f 302."
"K thank you.

Andy still leaving early?"

scribd.com/document/37754…
President Trump and Director Comey then had a one-on-one meeting in the Oval Office, where he - according to Comey's memos - requested an end to the federal investigation into Flynn. President Trump disputes the memos.

nytimes.com/2017/05/16/us/…

On February 16, 2017, Evan Perez published the article "Flynn changed story to FBI, no charges expected" in CNN.

edition.cnn.com/2017/02/16/pol…
On March 15, 2017, Ali Watkins published the article "Former Top Trump Aide Mike Flynn Was Investigated [as recently as December] By The FBI, Source Says" in BuzzFeed News.

buzzfeednews.com/article/alimwa…
It is in this very article which explicitly states that the FBI was preparing to close their investigation into the Flynn Intel Group "until the Logan Act stuff", i.e. the Kislyak-Flynn calls.

And as many have noted, the 302 on Flynn was written on August 22, 2017.

So, you know.

Months later.

thefederalist.com/2018/12/13/fed…
Everybody knew about this investigation.

Why do you think they had to get all of the Russia information out to everybody in the press and former Obama Administration officials and whatever?

And never forget that BOTH Comey and McCabe were involved in the secret Situation Room meetings at the White House, which was about Russian interference. Which Comey never speaks about. I wonder why? Must be "amnesia!"
