So, after five or six minutes of repeatedly dropping and storing a dozen laser pistols, I was back in business. The museum's construction continues! 
Still hate this thing. But I finally found a place for it.
Why I didn't think to have the ceramics collection and That Awful Goddamn Monkey swap places before, who knows. But I like this layout WAY better.
Like all modern museums, a chunk of real estate will be given over to a gift shop and cafe. This shop will be functional, and bring money into the settlement! And like I mentioned, I want the ghouled-out Vault-Tec rep to work it. Dude needs a break.
UPDATE: Found him, sent him to Sanctuary. When I showed up, he was like this.
He's now working the restaurant in the still-unfinished Pre-War Museum. He's a LOT happier than he was in Goodneighbor.
Fun Fact: After recruiting him, I went across the hall & shot a dude in his bed.
