So here's a new one: @FedEx was supposed to deliver a package to me on Friday, but it got delayed bc of "weather" (it was raining); same thing happened Sat (but not even raining!), so I called; rep says nothing they can do, wait till Monday; still no package; I call back today...
Rep says the pkg has been out for delivery thrice, but the driver cldn't deliver it bc he had too many packages & keeps running out of time before reaching my house. So he turns around/brings it back to the facility. I ask, "what do I do if that happens again/keeps happening?"...
Rep: "Nothing you can do. You just have to wait til it's delivered."
Me: "Nothing?"
Rep: "Nope. We can't tell them to prioritize it, & the same thing will happen if he brings it to a local @FedEx store."
Me: "So I might never get it?"
Rep: "Well, eventually it'll die down"
Me:...
This seems like a bad system.
(p.s. It's out for delivery again right now, but still no sign of the @FedEx truck/package. I feel so helpless and alone. Will keep you posted.)
Foiled again. Now @FedEx says they'll have my xmas pkg here "by the end of the week" (over a week after it was originally out for delivery). And the only thing I can do to get it sooner is to drive 30 mins to pick it up, which I will do.

This is a bad system and @FedEx is bad.
The reason I will drive there is bc he cldn't even guarantee I'd get my CHRISTMAS PACKAGE THAT I ORDERED A MONTH BEFORE CHRISTMAS by xmas. AND he honestly cldn't even guarantee they'd remember to hold it tmrw. So I have to call early.

I'm ready to burn the system to the ground
Oh no they di'n't (of course they did)
At @ComfortablySmug's suggestion I've now called the seller (@saks) to complain & get them to prod @FedExHelp. They kindly called, but the FedEx rep insisted my pkg wld be delivered today, regardless of the fails. So we must wait, again.

We all know how this movie ends, right?
Well, umm, this isn't good.
Same webpage. My package is now defying time and space, simultaneously delivered Monday and on a truck Tues and Today.

This is a bad system.
Small update: after my @FedEx package ripped apart the space-time continuum a few hrs ago, I called the Durham facility. The rep there saw the problem, and said she'd call me back once she figured out what was going on.

She has not called back. Still no package.
THE EAGLE HAS LANDED

(in an opened box)

(but the item was in there)

(and it didn't fit)

(sad)
Oh and of course the item is no longer available in the correct size. It *was* available over the weekend (when the pkg was originally scheduled to be delivered). But not today.

This is the saddest Christmas ever.
