vItarAga vAnyaprasthin with no financial responsibilities? They don’t realize purohita also has a family to support, children to educate, parents to care for, daughters to marry, sisters houses to send gifts to, and other social responsibilities to address. Ignorantly many people
also incorrectly think dakShiNA to be a charity. dakShiNA is not a charity - it is a “fees” for the purohita. More or less like a fee for other professional like a lawyer or doctor or a CA. Besides, strangely some exhibit a subtle dveSha towards their purohita just by nature!
