Awaiting a verdict in the NYPD bribery trial of Jeremy Reichberg and ex Deputy Inspector Jimmy Grant.
Surprise split verdict. Reichberg found guilty of 5 out of 6 counts. Grant found NOT GUILTY on all counts.
One juror said she was “absolutely” stunned the government brought charges against Grant. “It looked like they were rushing,” she said of the case against the Deputy Inspector.
She also didn’t put much stock in testimony of prostitute Gabi Grecko. “She was drugged up. It looked like she was on something.”
And one male juror’s take on government star witness Jona Rechnitz: “He’s a lying piece of shit.”
One correction: Reichberg guilty on four out of five counts (not five out of six).
