So, listen. I run TEXTFILES.COM (it's in my handle) and the site has been around for over 20 years. This month, Google pushed out a declaration that my site is "unsafe" and as a result a whole slew of browsers now put up a red screen and warn you to not visit.
I know why they're doing this. I also know I'm not going to randomly change my 20 years plus website until Google gets thoroughly embarassed as to how they do this, what they do, and why they're working really hard to ruin the WWW in the name of various made-up virtues.
All of these tweets I'm doing about this issue, which is frankly boring if you're not in certain realms, will have the hashtag #gphiles, so mute that tag if you don't want those tweets from me. Thanks.
