I had an agreement to visit the Commissioner of Police in Ogun State over the activities of the officers at the Sango Police station (before the bridge). Unfortunately, the victim have decided to backout in fear as advised because he didn’t want mortal retribution. 🤔
At this point I had to feel my own pulse just to be sure if I am actually mortal because people often forget that I can die as well & not invincible. He went further to demand an apology from the team & suggested that he’ll send his account details for refunds without showing up.
If I were Jumia or Konga I probably won’t mind his preferred order as elucidated but things don’t work this way. You have provided evidence and we have escalated the matter to help you get justice. You will need to show up. If not we are only emoting. I need to prove U exist.
We operate transparently and accountably. There must be a balance on both sides. I can’t give you a hair cut in absentia. Over the years we have seen citizens enjoy complaining online and not following through. This once frustrated Distinguished ACP @YomiShogunle
We can’t continue wasting resources and heating up expectations only to back out. These officers will not learn anything and you have worsened the situation for others by being cowed. You may be victimized again unless we shut this down once & for all.
Sango can not be as bad as the SE where people are shot first before they even ask questions years back. It can’t be as bad as Ikorodu or Igando. Egbeda, Akowonjo, Cement, Ipaja etc were no go areas before now. People rose to the occasion to make things better.
Regardless, we will visit the state and hound the perpetrators. Another citizen must not fall victim. We must not set the wrong precedent and bring harm upon innocent souls unnecessarily. Those who enjoy the attention to their rants without the will to fight must rethink.
