Can we all just take a minute to LOL at Federalist 68? 
While we're at it, might as well LOL at Federalist 71 as well. This is the part where Hamilton says the peoples' representatives might sometimes do stupid things, but it's ok, Presidents and Senators will be wise men who will carry us through the dangerous, populist storm.
The irony, of course, is that to the extent politicians these days are doing the part I highlighted, it's Democrats. Conservatives love to cite The Federalist Papers as political scripture...how ironic if it's the President produced by their movement that breaks the constitution.
