Well, that took long enough...

The above is my Calm Answer. Internally, it's more like "AAAAAHHHHH, why the feck didn't you just listen to the NUMEROUS people telling you this, which would have saved millions of whatever currency you use??!"
It's just so *stupid*!

For god's sake, why the hell do all these people try to make themselves relevant by butting in on territory they do not know anything about, and *have no intention* to learn anything about?
I've writting about this since 2016, and discussed this topic since end of 2014, when this idea first started to gain traction.

Before that, it was moot, as you were laughed away talking about anything like it in front of the same people who now are learning this.
It's bloody insulting, both to the people who have most experience, and to their customers that these companies invest so much time in a handicapped and useless form of this tech.
It boils down to simply: Take out the loss of central control and you lose all benefits.

Not difficult and said over and over and over.
Luckily, that part of the saga is now nearly over.

I already see most people touting this crap to other things.
In previous "blockchain" meetups of this kind blockchain is almost a shunned topic now, and rightly so, as they referenced "permissioned" blockchains.
And that is good: the topic needs to go away.

I'd be happy if more articles, which are at least honest would be written.

I am afraid however, that most actors that pushed this will slink into the shadows to work on new and shiny uselessness all over again.
