Not sure who it was representing the government on R4 but by my count he said ‘clear’ over 20 times.

In litigation, the use of ‘clear’ or ‘clearly’ is usually an indication of the weakest part of any argument
It would be so refreshing to hear someone from Theresa May’s government doing an interview where they weren’t sticking to a script and actually said what they really thought. But May herself is incapable of that.
It’s so exhausting to have to listen and so unsuited to the current politics which require honesty and bravery not more obfuscation and trickery
Theresa May has never understood that honesty is a sign of strength not weakness
Ps I don’t listen to McDonnell or Corbyn and think ‘ooh here’s a refreshingly honest politician’
