1/18/73 at 11:30 pm on WTIC. Hartford affiliate on Channel 3 (soon renamed WFSB) delayed the Friday "CBS Late Movie'' to Sunday nights so it could present it own local syndicated shows on Fridays. No wonder I was driving back to NYC almost every weekend with choices like this.
1/18/79 at 1 pm on WOR's "Cinema 9.'' 1951 The 1,475-seat Globe showed films from 1935 to 1957. Since then, strictly legit as the Lunt-Fontanne with entrance on 46th. Haskin's 1951 Nat Holt western made US TV debut 3/6/65 on "NBC Saturday Night at the Movies.''
