Guys, I know the pressure of Social Media. But you don't have to allow this kind of unnecessary & undue stress to get to you. It is alright to take a break when you feel under pressure here. Your real friends are not on Twitter. Go offline and talk to them. Be free then come back
Don't come here to seek validation from anyone! That person you think is your 'Twitter friend' has other 'Twitter friends' they are trying to impress. I used to think I was friends with someone here until he made a thread of those that matter to him & I wasn't there. That's life!
I am not saying you can't have friends from here. I have made very great and trusted people here. But I think if you haven't met someone offline, or at the minimum, spoken confidently with them, you shouldn't assume they are your friends.
The rate at which people get depressed here is alarming and this comes off the need to 'belong' or form clout, or seek online validation. Once this is not happening, many people get under pressure to do, say or post 'anything' for acceptance and attention.
