These are my ruminations after seeing the plight of some academically brilliant but jobless engineering graduates who nevertheless have to start repaying their edu loan! Its already 9 months after graduating yet they have not landed a job! Reason, 1/n
1. Can there be some policy or regulation in this method of recruitment by pvt cos which continues to be the single main job providing platform for students across the country?
2 Can checks be put in place to ensure, nepotism & 3/n
3 Why is it that top notch companies visit only the top notch colleges most of 4/n
4 Is it right that HRs of companies are adequately "taken care of" by big colleges to ensure campus selection happens in their college?
5 can a minimum starting salary be fixed for trainees & freshers commensurate with 6/n
6 can a central or state body oversee selection of candidates according to merit, from a common pool of job vacancies in companies instead of campus recruitments? 7/n
I seriously don't understand the logic behind this new arrears exam system! Why students are forced to wait for a year to write their arrears exam ?
