NY TV debut 1/22/54 at 6:15 pm on WCBS' "The Early Show.'' Oland's penultimate (1937) appearance in Fox series. WCBS would soon also begin showing Universal's "Sherlock Holmes'' and Paramount's "Bulldog Drummond'' series, all among the earliest major studio titles, all Bs, on TV.
