Let's all try to help government & contract workers affected by the shutdown. They don't deserve to be mistreated this way. Since I'm near a Coast Guard station, I'm going to go buy groceries to drop off there. Figure out what you can do to help. Then help.
Let's all try to help government & contract workers affected by the shutdown. They don't deserve to be mistreated this way. Since I'm near a Coast Guard station, I'm going to go buy groceries to drop off there. Figure out what you can do to help. Then help.
If you can't afford to donate food or money, then maybe you can volunteer at a food pantry. If you don't have time to volunteer, then maybe you can call your Congressional representatives and urge them to end this stupid tRUmp & McConnell-made emergency.
And remember-even when gov't re-opens, a lot of contract workers will likely NOT be receiving backpay. So help if you can.
