This whole story on cons reminds me about the way I almost got conned by @CiikuKabura last year pretending that she had been arrested 😂

I found out she had conned at least 2 other people, too.

I kept all the screenshots 😂

Thread
We met on Twitter, random conversation here and there.

She convinced me that she worked at the Norfolk as the Executive Chef 😂

(I later called them and CinCin is a bar not restaurant and the whole hotel doesn't have an Executive Chef)
She even talked about having a newspaper article done about her etc and she sounded legit with the whole profile picture and ish and she always sounded busy and she was always "coming from work"
So anyway on a random morning in August, I wake up to 10 missed calls and texts😂
I call her back and she tells me that she's been arrested for loitering and that she needs my help. She needed 10K bail😂

I was tired and this made no sense. How was she calling me if she was still in the cells? She wanted me to Mpesa her bail money? How does that work?
But I'm confused about the whole story but decide that since it's early, I might as well go and check up on her. It was around 9.40 a.m

I get to Satellite Police station and ask for her at the desk.
The police man I asked told me that she is in big trouble and I was confused because how is loitering big trouble. He looks through the OB book to confirm and I see her name and the charges "Obtaining Money Under False Pretences"

😂😂😂😂😂😂
At this point I am confused AF. I had already withdrawn the money to help her out but this new information changed my mind.

She kept on texting me asking me where I was (from the cells)
Since I was there anyway, I asked to see her. I was told that I would have to wait to talk to a specific detective 😂
They eventually let me see her. She came out of the calls and asked the police officer about whether three other officers were there. She knew them by name.
She claimed to have been arrested the night before for loitering but knew three different police officers by name and another detective? 😂
The officer I had talked to was called Abu
So I ask her what's going on when I talked to her and the story changed to mistaken identity 😂

She said that her landlord had called the police on her 😂

The story was now growing wings
I tell her that I don't have the money and that I would figure things out. The whole thing just sounded shady. She now (in person) tells me that she had already gotten half the money and that she now needed half.
I asked her how she had just remembered this and said that she had forgotten than someone just sent her money 😂😂😂😂

One, she was in the cell with her shoes, wallet and phone and it was charged 😂😂😂😂😂

It just didn't add up 😂
I leave the police station and she calls me immediately afterwards saying that she was with the OCS and that he wants the money and that he is waiting.

I keep on stalling as I am thinking.
She texts and calls over 20 times that day. By that time I have talked to a few friends and I am sure the whole thing is shady AF

She even starts making up stories about cellmates.
Two days later I get a DM from a random person on Twitter asking me how well I know her.

I tell the person that I really don't. She goes on to narrate how she sent her bail money and then Ciiku blocked her afterwards 😂😭
She had blocked her on Twitter, promised her the money via text then soon after, blocked her, too.
We also start comparing texts.

By the time she texted me for money, the other Tweeps had already sent her money.

She was just fishing for money from different people.
She had also claimed she had cancer and that it wiped out her savings then she also tried to get money from someone else in the name of her grandmother having died 😂😂😂

Different DMs started coming with different stories.
She has been using her parents names to con people out of money in different ways including using names of politicians.
She has conned her own friends and family.
I got a call from a person who got my number from a mutual friend. He told me how she plays these "jail games" with full knowledge of the police. The loot is shared 😂
I later told this story to a friend who told me she had been arrested a fair share of times for fraud but keeps on getting bailed out. Most people drop their cases against her. She's well connected and so even when she's caught.
No I didn't give her money.

The whole thing didn't make sense.

Three Tweeps contacted me about it.

There are probably people here online who sent her money and are suffering in silence 😂
She asked for 10K from me and dozens of other people. She's lied about having cancer, her grandmother having cancer, business loans, being arrested, borrowing money in the name of politicians 😂 These are just the stories I know 😂

Deal with her at your own peril 😂
Ps I remember Googling her and there was a Daily Nation article about her. I can't seem to see it now but there's a version still available on Press Reader online😭😂😂
