While I'm a big fan of the metric system, I really appreciate the human aspect of Fahrenheit.

If you think of 0-100 as a scale of cold to hot, it makes a lot of sense.

50% warm? Yeah, it's cool but nice out. 75% warm? Nice. very nice. 100% warm? NO THANKS. 32% warm? Cold.
Basically, 0-100 covers the general limits of human exposure. People understand that over 100 is Too Much and under 0 is also Too Much, But The Other Direction.

I'm a fan of metric for literally everything else (and temps for science!). Miles can go. Whatever. But leave me °F).
Also: I swear to the gods anyone who comes in and talks about individual subjectivity is fucking missing the point.
