Just spoke to lawyers for ex-Trump aides who flipped in the Mueller probe (Gates, George P) and lawyers who negotiated with Mueller team for other witnesses.

They say Mueller is effective, intimidating, tracking collusion.

Never done one like this...
And we should remember for all the discussion of Mueller, there are still only 2 sources of firsthand info about the probe:

-what Mueller releases via court filings
-information released by people who interact directly with Mueller's team- witnesses, defendants & their lawyers
When reporters (or others) want hard intel on the Mueller probe -- things that people saw or experienced -- we need those witnesses or their lawyers.

The great reporting we see on WHO Mueller interviewed, what his team is asking -- that's coming from witnesses or lawyers.

“Cohen strongly signaled his willingness to cooperate with special counsel Robert Mueller and federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York -- even if that puts President Trump in jeopardy.” Ok, ABC, please explain this.
Mueller referred the Cohen investigation to SDNY. That means it’s completely unrelated to his SC probe. If it WAS related, he wouldn’t have handed it off. So, given that, how does ANYTHING Cohen does in this case help Mueller?
