Atiku/Obi tried to prepare for the corruption question but the truth is there is no justification for these questionable acts they took while in office. Absolutely none. #NgTheCandidates
Kadaria asked Peter Obi about his own conflict of interest. He put 2 billion naira of state money in a brewery where his company was a major shareholder. He’s still squirming. Can’t believe she let him off!

I can’t believe that Atiku tried to use the indigenIzation scheme to justify setting up a clearing and forwarding company while he was a customs officer, a clear conflict. Kadaria got him on that one. Indigenization only applied to existing multinationals. #NgTheCandidates
Kadaria didn’t fact check Atiku in his claims about the economy being better under PDP. He said APC caused recession. But the economy was already going down because of crashing oil prices & wholesale plundering of the treasury. FGN was borrowing to pay salaries. #NgTheCandidates
I bet they like this Onnoghen question. #DubaiStrategy loading up!😊
Atiku wants to shorten the investigation period but can’t say how except to say he will investigate. Basically he wants a situation where you have to stop investigation within a period of time if you don’t find enough. Wow- I hear criminals cheering all over the country!😂
Atiku wants a ‘dialog’ between various branches of government about existing corruption cases. He agrees with Kadaria’s suggestion of an amnesty program where you get off if you return cash. Interesting- this coupled with time-limited investigation will finally finish Nigeria.
Softball questions on Jennifer’s corruption cases and no hard follow-up. Is Kadaria scared of Atiku?
Atiku says the real corruption that worries him is election rigging. Hello! You apologized publicly to your PDP Lagos members for excluding Lagos from your rigging machine during 2003 elections: premiumtimesng.com/news/top-news/…
Good question from Kadaria & she has data to back it up. She says that Atiku hasn’t positively impacted his home state of Adamawa during his time in office. The state is still as poor as when he entered public life. I recall that it was PMB that completed the road to his village.
Peter Obi tries to answer for Atiku by saying that at least he improved his own personal circumstances and most former Presidents were not able to do that. He’s basically saying that selfishness is a good quality for public office. #NgTheCandidates
Now I think I fear Kadaria. She lured them into multiple traps and now they’re entangled in a web of sophistry. She’s like a spider. 😲
If I were their advisers, I would have warned Atiku/Obi not to let Kadaria draw them into a discussion of poverty and capitalism, and yet that’s exactly what she’s done. Why? They are wealthy men who became even wealthier in office and did not lift many people along with them.
Now she’s given them a lifeline by asking them to focus on talking about their own plans. That will be hard. The #AtikuPlan is a mess.

I wonder if they’ll talk about their plan to sell NNPC to their friends!

There’s an assassin in the audience who is asking about Obasanjo’s attack against Atiku in his book. He reads the excerpt and then asks:

“If my former employer forwarded this reference to you about me, would you hire me?”

Like I said- an assassin.

*to say he will legislate
Peter Obi alias ‘Him Tu Lie’ has come again. He just categorically denied deporting beggars from Anambra. But there are news reports detailing exactly #NgTheCandidates: abusidiqu.com/reports-show-g…
I don’t like jumping to conclusions, but this interview might very well be the final nail in the coffin of the ill-fated Atiku/Obi Presidential Campaign.

Challengers have to do better than this- especially when they have disastrous public records.
Peter Obi doesn’t realize that his figures are confusing and he only ends up fudging the numbers and further destroying his own credibility- all in a bid to show us he is ‘smart’.

Dude, show us your heart, not your brain. This is politics, not a classroom.#NgTheCandidates
And that’s a wrap. One thing that stood out was the uncivilised behaviour of the PDP dominated audience constantly shouting & refusing to allow Kadaria to ask difficult questions- tallies with their propensity to descend to insults online- typical of those who don’t have a point!
