4/As for how to pay for the Green New Deal, it stipulates that the government will take an equity stake in the projects - an interesting idea I hadn't heard before.

In other words, MMT is absolutely a core part of the GND.

7/In other words, the Green New Deal plan, as released by Ocasio-Cortez, definitely seems to include:
1) universal health care paid for by MMT

To be clear, though the "green" parts of the Green New Deal are good, the "New Deal" parts are probably disastrously bad.

So until the proposal is substantially revamped, every Democrat's answer to the question "Do you support the Green New Deal?" should be "NO."
