@thecjpearson It was not a misspeak, it was a 'misthink'.

I can understand how some think that there is nothing wrong with liking your nation and wanting your nation to do well.

But Hitler didn't think like this.

That was the problem with Hitler, NOT globalism.

@thecjpearson Hitler believed his nation, Germany, could only do well if the people were all Aryans, thought the way he dictated them to think, and did exactly as they were told.

Anyone who didn't fit into those categories had possessions taken, were demeaned, tortured, and killed,

@thecjpearson Hitler didn't accept Germany as it was, with all of its diverse people. He had an alternate idea of what Germany should be and he ruthlessly went about to make it into his ideal nation.

If you think that is nationalism, then you can take your ideas and stuff them.

@thecjpearson The United States is a nation of native Americans, immigrants, and former slaves. We have a history of horrendous travesties performed against various people that was condoned by our own government.

@thecjpearson But throughout our nation's history, we have changed, grown, and learned from our mistakes and, hopefully, we will always continue to do so.

But every time our nation had learned, grown, and changed, it was due to the diversity within our nation.

@thecjpearson It was the sharing of different experiences and the empathy we felt with one another that allowed us to learn, grow, and make the necessary changes.

@thecjpearson You want to make America great? Then embrace diversity, because that is our greatest strength.

But all of the people I see that talk about nationalism, don't want diversity.

@thecjpearson They want to make current immigrants scapegoats for all the problems we face, as a nation.

They want to declare a national emergency over people want to immigrate here for a better life.

They want to pretend there aren't different standards on how our police treat people.

@thecjpearson They want to pretend that white people are the ones being persecuted.

They want to be pretend that christians are being persecuted, that there is 'war on Christmas'.

@thecjpearson What they really want is a nation of white christian people with a few others mixed in, if they know their place and stay in their place.

To me, that is not the same as liking our nation and wanting to see it do well.

That is, to me, is white supremacy.
