@TheFigen We've been though this, Figen. Air horn "pranks" are not funny because they can do irreversible damage to the hearing of the people nearby. This is not a theoretical possibility. This has happened, before. I gave you links, last time.
@TheFigen To encourage this sort of thing is irresponsible. Non-consensually damaging somebody else's hearing and life for a few hits on a video or tweet is not a fine thing to do. Neither is normalizing such behavior by acting like it's funny.
@TheFigen When you do that, you're endangering others, because monkey see, monkey do. Somebody else is going to do this dumb, thoughtless, damaging s.hit, because he saw other people act like it was cool, and some innocent bystander is going to get hurt, but I guess you don't care.
@TheFigen Anything as long as it gets you a few more followers? Well, you just lost one and I hope you lose more.

She posted yet another airhorn "prank," celebrating its humor and then flew into a narcissistic rage when I pointed out why this was not a good thing to encourage.
@TheFigen People have had their hearing damaged without their consent for the rest of their lives, because some yahoo thought it would be funny to blast an airhorn in their ears.
@TheFigen To fully repair the damage done to their ears by this violent act is beyond anything present day medicine can do. This is forever.

I talk a lot about how you can’t be a great developer without great communication skills, but I don’t think people grok how _directly_ your communication skills are reflected in your codebase. Let me give you an example.
Let’s say you’re working in a legacy codebase that, in places, resembles a house on Hoarders (BEFORE they clean it out).
These types of codebases are distressingly common. They’re so full of STUFF that you can hardly move around. To get your work done, you’ve got little goat trails of understanding running through it, like the narrow space between piles of junk in an overcrowded living room.

1. Today the Padmanabhaswamy Temple Petition was taken by Hon'ble Justices Shri U. U. Lalit and Shri D. Y. Chandrachud as Item 13 in Court 11 of the Supreme Court.
2. The Petition was listed for hearing on various Interim Applications as well as final arguments in the matter. The Amicus Curiae Shri Gopal Subramanium proposed to undertake a visit to the Temple to meet stakeholders and build consensus.
3. The Counsel for the Petitioners objected to this suggestion pointing out such an exercise would yield nothing and that the Petition must be taken up for final arguments.

I did something similar to this 5 years ago, in anticipation of EC & @theroots' Wise Up Ghost LP, on tumblr.

(You can still find all those posts if you look, although a lot of the YouTube links etc are now dead ends. It was 40 Days Of EC then, so for 2018 I'm upping it to 45.)
Mostly I will be going chronologically from the early years right up to the present, but it feels right to start out with Costello's 2002 song, "45."

People ask me about intro to GPU mining which is crazy because I am a lawyer who plays with computers in his "free time". IF you mine with GPUs in your house A) you will burn it down B) you will lose **ALL** your money. Now let's get started.
This is the best motherboard I've found for n00bs such as myself because you don't have to tweak the bios settings.
1) if you have never built a computer before you need to either a) buy a gaming pc and at the very least upgrade the ram, harddrive and power supply or b) grab a cheap motherboard and build a Linux (preferred) or Windows PC. Keep in mind that Windows kills people.. Choose wisely
